This feature will highlight a “Pastor of the Month.”  Often, our churches do not know any pastor except the one who leads their own church.  This month we will re-introduce Rev. Joe Hill and his wife Jo-Ann, the pastor who serves our association as the Missions Director.

Rev. Hill served in a bi-vocational pastoral capacity for more than 50 years.  In February, he will have completed 51 years of ministry.  In addition to being a graduate of Mississippi College (class of 63), he is AAA certified as a teacher and taught and served as principal at several schools.  His wife, Jo-Ann, followed him and taught whatever the school system lacked where he worked.  She is certified K-9th grade.  One of his major accomplishments was to establish the Adams County Christian School in Natchez.  Their main love and vocation was serving the 8 churches where he pastored for 50 years.  They are both retired from teaching and work in the Missions Center.

He was born and raised in Franklin County and graduated from Meadville High School (class of 52).  In a real sense, coming back to Franklin County was coming home.  They have one daughter and live in Clinton, MS.  We are grateful God has graciously provided such qualified servants for our Ministries Center.
